Many children and young adolescents who live in low income circumstances do not have the resources to gain experiences to potential areas of interest.

Research

Through research and interviews with a number of school teachers we gathered these top 3 findings:

• after school programs are in high demand

• schools may not have the funding for extra events

KITE provides a means for benefactors to donate and/or host field trips to schools for children in low-income communities. It becomes an intuitive platform for school organizers to reach out to benefactors (and vice versa) so together they can gift new experience to the next generation.

Organizer

• schedules open dates for field trips

• reaches out & confirms dates with Benefactor Hosts

• approves and sends Thank You Journals

Benefactor

• explores schools to host and or donate to

• confirms dates with the Organizer through the chat

• receives and reads Thank You Journals

• votes on upcoming field trips (automated list)
